Forty-one millimetres of key, with all the ornament gathered into the bow at the top. Yellow gold scrollwork frames a white gold lattice beaded at every crossing, and the shaft below runs plain and slim at 1.4mm thick, so the whole length lies flat to the chest.
The two colours are why she is here. White gold against yellow means she sits with whatever is already in your jewellery box, and keys have been worn as charms since Rome, where the woman running a household wore one to show what had been entrusted to her. At 41.3mm she is built for a long chain, where the line of her has room to run.
