The V of a wishbone drops 6.81mm at its point, which is what lets her nest tight against a band or an engagement ring and travel down the finger. Sapphires run along both arms, dark enough to read closer to navy than to sky.
It was the shape that got us. Sapphires have carried associations with wisdom and truth for as long as people have written about stones, and against gold this softly worn they look older still. Size 8, and she is at her best stacked, where the V has something to close around.
