Antique Pearl and Sapphire Curb Bracelet
"This is a work of art. Antique, with so much substance. I have never come across one adorned with pearl and sapphire."
— Megan, founder & curator

Sapphires and pearls set alternately into the links of a heavy curb chain, with a heart padlock hanging at the front, its face struck with a full set of English hallmarks.
The pairing is why she is here. Pearl and sapphire together on a curb bracelet is a combination we rarely come across. The padlock was a Victorian gift with the meaning built into the hardware, since the lock genuinely locks, and 9k is a British standard that never took hold on this side of the Atlantic. She measures 6 inches, a close antique fit.
