A 10k yellow gold mariner link bracelet, 7.25 inches, with the distinctive flat oval links and horizontal cross-bars that give the style its nautical name. Finished with a secure lobster clasp.
Mariner links (sometimes called anchor chain) were inspired by the chains used to hold ships' anchors, that horizontal bar through each link is a small echo of the real thing. The style has been a fine jewelry favourite since the 1970s, prized for the way the flat links lie smoothly against the skin and catch light in a quiet, even rhythm. Substantial enough to wear alone, easy enough to layer with other bracelets.
