Gold Collar
"What I love about this one is that chains form to the neck. They drape, they hug. This piece circles, and even floats. Wear it with a pendant to ground it, or leave it alone for something almost architectural, almost sculptural."
— Megan, founder & curator
A fine 10k yellow gold collar, a single wand of gold shaped into a circle that sits close at the base of the neck. Simple hook-and-ball closure at the back.
Gold collars (sometimes called torques) are one of the oldest forms in jewelry. The Celts wore them, the ancient Mediterranean cultures wore them, and they returned in the 1970s when modernist gold jewelry leaned into clean, sculptural form. This one is delicate enough to disappear when you want it to, and stands alone with such quiet confidence it doesn't need anything else. A necklace as line, not chain.
