The centre diamond sits in a raised square bezel of warm 14k yellow gold, flanked on each shoulder by a pair of single cut diamonds in delicate star settings that catch light from every angle. The combination is architectural and romantic at once — graphic enough to be striking, soft enough to wear every day. Single cut diamonds have a particular quality of light, less brilliant than their modern counterparts but more intimate, as if the stone holds the glow rather than throwing it. This ring has that quality in abundance.
