A pair of scalloped hollow gold hoops in 18k yellow, the kind of earring that quietly does everything. Small enough to sit at the lobe, wide enough to catch light along every ridge.
Scalloped hoops (sometimes called croissant or shrimp hoops) had their moment in vintage Italian gold jewelry from the seventies onward, and they've never really left. The ribbed texture gives the surface dimension without weight, and the slight taper from base to top makes them sit perfectly on the ear. Hinged closure. Wearable every day, dressy when you want them to be.
