Ten karat yellow from about 1975, lobster clasp, links at 3.66mm, which is the width where a chain still reads as jewellery and not as hardware.
Fifteen inches to seventeen covers the throat down to just under the collarbone. That is two chains' worth of options on one, and a short chain earns its place faster than a long one.
