A flat gold disc 5.77mm across with rays cut out from a centre point, sitting less than a millimetre off the lobe. Because the face is flat, the rays fire together instead of one at a time, so she flashes as your head turns.
We wanted her for how much is worked into something this small. The sun has been the most common image in ornament for as long as ornament has existed, and cutting it into gold is one of the oldest ways to get light without a stone. She sits close enough to the ear to wear under a hat, a helmet, or a pair of headphones.
