A round pearl close to 11mm across, mounted on a gold back with a broad polished bail over the top, standing 11.5mm off the chest. Most pearl jewellery is built on stones of six to eight millimetres, so she runs well above the size people are used to. The gold back gives her the heft that a hollow mount never has, and she needs nothing else on the chain.
