A pair of gold huggie hoops with pear-shaped opal drops, each one flashing deep blue and electric green as it catches the light. Small in scale, enormous in color.
Opals have been treasured for their fire since antiquity, the Romans believed they held the powers of every gemstone at once, since a single opal can flash every color. These two have a dark, dreamy base lit up with blue and teal, bezel-set in warm gold and hung from a snug huggie hoop. Everyday in form, otherworldly in color. The kind of earring that looks quiet until you turn your head.
