'M' Onyx Signet Ring
"This is such a classically vintage style and I always love stumbling upon it, but I have never seen floral detail adorn the shoulders."
— Megan, founder & curator
An onyx face 10.8 by 9mm, carrying an M and raised 4.34mm off the finger, with floral work running over the shoulders on both sides. Flowers on a signet is an unusual combination, and it is what separates her from the many plain black signets in circulation.
The shoulders are why she came home with us. Onyx has long been tied to strength and protection, and the Victorians used it for the rings they wore to remember people by. Size 6, and the M can be your own initial or someone else's, which is half the pleasure of an antique monogram.
