A 10k yellow gold band set with two parallel rows of pavé diamonds in white gold settings, edged with fine milgrain detail along every line. The inside of the band is pierced with the words "I love you" cut all the way through the gold, so light passes through the letters when it's worn.
Rings with a hidden sentiment go back centuries (the medieval ones were called posy rings, from the French "poésie"). This one borrows the romance and reinvents the technique. The words don't sit on the surface, they're cut through it, visible against the skin when the ring is on the finger, visible against light when it's held up. Two rows of bright diamonds in milgrain settings on the face, a love letter cut into the back. Beautiful on its own, made to stack with everything.
