Antique Garnet and Pearl Ring

A jewel straight out of a Victorian portrait. This antique gold ring features a deep red garnet at center, set flush into the band in the classic gypsy style, surrounded by an engraved starburst that radiates outward like a sunburst. Flanking the garnet on either side, two lustrous pearls sit in matching starburst settings, their soft glow a perfect foil to the richness of the stone.

In the Victorian era, garnets were beloved for their deep, blood-red warmth and were thought to bring protection and passion to the wearer, while pearls symbolized purity and were associated with the moon and feminine power.
